Abstract This compact and handy biography gives a rounded picture of Mozart from his child prodigy days, when he was exploited all over Europe by an ambitious father, to his premature death from typhus. His meteoric successes were always followed by days of dire poverty, but always there continued his prodigious and brilliant work for the music lovers of all time.
