Abstract |
In 1938, British stockbroker Nicholas Winton arranged to save the lives of 669 mostly Jewish children from Nazi capture in Czechoslovakia by arranging train rides and host families in London. The life of one of the children, Vera Gissing, is forced to grow up in a new home with memories of a past she can't forget. |
