"N̐ue a Corujas, dans le Nord-Est du Portugal, le 28 mars 1943 Francolino Gon̐ucalves a fait sa profession religieuse dans l'Ordre dominicain en 1960 et fut ordonn̐ue pr̐uetre le 9 novembre 1968. Envoy̐ue d'abord a l'̐uEcole biblique de J̐uerusalem, il partit ̐ua Louvain faire son doctorat qui fut publi̐ue en 1986 dans les ̐uEtudes bibliques collection dont il fut ensuite le directeur, comme des Cahiers de la Revue biblique, pour des longues ann̐uees. Son enseignement ̐ua l'̐uEcole et dans plusieurs autres institutions acad̐uemiques lui valut nombre d'honneurs et la nomination en 2008 ̐ua la Commission biblique pontificale. Apr̐ues une vie de recherche, d'enseignement et de publications il est d̐uec̐ued̐ue peu avant l'aube du 15 juin 2017. Le pr̐uesent volume est d̐uedi̐ue ̐ua sa memoire et contient des ̐uetudes proph̐uetiques, historiques et ̐uepigraphiques de ses fr̐ueres, coll̐uegues, ̐uetudiants et amis."-- Back cover. |
