This sequel to her history comprises about three years, from ten to thirteen. Her biographer mentions this to prevent mistakes, and the ensure the advice, the entreaty, that this book may not be read at an earlier age."--To parents, v. 3, p. [3]-4, dated January 1821 and signed: M.E. [i.e., Maria Edgeworth].
