Abstract The Wide Open Town History Project Records are the research files and oral histories compiled for Nan Alamilla Boyd's history of queer San Francisco up to 1965, including photographs and audio of forty-one interviews. The earliest interviews date to the 1930s. In addition to recordings and photos, the collection is comprised of Boyd's notes, primary sources, correspondence, and supplementary research.
