Abstract Fueling Endurance Athletes presents an overview of the unique nutritional challenges faced by endurance athletes and discusses practical strategies that can help athletes meet their fuel and fluid goals during competition. The DVD reviews fueling and fluid replacement before and during competition. The DVD also looks at recovery nutrition following competition. In addition, the DVD addresses strategies that purport to enhance endurance performance (e.g., brief fat loading, glycerol hyperhydration, caffeine ingestion, the ""train low, compete high"" model, etc.). Furthermore, the DVD details nutritional considerations for multi-day events.
