Abstract |
Creating a brand new person requires a complex biological process featuring a cast of microscopic characters. Viewers learn about fertilization and how chromosomes determine the gender and physical attributes of a baby. We show how a single cell develops into an embryo and follow the rapidly changing stages of fetal development. Students also examine the importance of prenatal care, nutrition and a healthy prenatal environment. |
