| Abstract | The pamplet records two condemnations of the publication Collier's Weekly. In an interview, Senator Furnifold Simmons from North Carolina claimed the publication slandered him. In the second article, the B.P.O. Elks, New Bern Lodge, No. 764 passed a resolution banning the publication from their reading rooms another due to an article that was published in Collier's Weekly which they believed negatively portray the women of America and the South. |
