| Summary | Annotation Bird Ringing Station Manual presents to a wider audience more than 50 years of field practice on migratory birds' ringing. During many years of intensive work in Operation Baltic, RULING and SEEN programs the authors tested various methods and ideas, accumulating considerable experience in bird migration studies. The authors found that the main problem of international co-operation is the incompatibility of methods and local work protocols, which makes the exchange and efficient use of data very difficult.
