Abstract Per the authority of the Javits-Wagner-O'Day Act, the AbilityOne Program facilitates employment of people, including veterans, who are blind or have other significant disabilities in a wide range of services to its federal customers. The U.S. AbilityOne Commission functions as advocate and administrative agency for the AbilityOne Program. This site provides complete guidance for: 1) government agencies that seek to do business with AbilityOne; 2) persons with disabilities who seek to work for AbilityOne; and, 3) distributors who seek to distribute AbilityOne products. Includes profiles of employees, including wounded warriors, in the AbilityOne Network, the AbilityOne Program Magazine, wholesaler affiliates for purchase of products, and applicable laws and regulations.
