General note | The report proper begins: The committee of both houses to whom were referred the memorials and remonstrances from the towns of Deerfield, Gerry, New-Bedford, Northampton, Southampton, Westhampton, Newbury, Newburyport, North-Yarmouth, Hatfield, Brookfield, Buckstown, Machias, Castine, Brunswick, Hadley, Athol, Gouldsborough, South Hadley, Ellsworth, Brewster, Goshen, Ipswich, Rowley, Belfast, Whately, Warwick, Belchertown, Dartmouth, Chesterfield, Ashfield, Wendell, Shelburne, New Salem and Beverly, together with the petition of sundry inhabitants of the towns of Plymouth and Penobscot, and the report of the committee of the Honorable House on the petition of sundry fishermen, inhabitants of Boston, have had the same under consideration, and ask leave respectfully to report ... |
