General note | "Advertisement. This discourse was intended as a supplement to that, which I preached from the same text on the last state fast. The limits of that discourse did not permit me to say all, which I wished on the subject. The national fast gave me an oppertunity to supply this deficiency. Could I have foreseen this fact, I should have formed both discourses into a single, regular scheme. As this, however, was not practicable in the existing circumstances, it is hoped, that the reader will excuse the defect. T.D."--p. [2] |
