To the freeholders of the southern district of the state of New-York : Gentlemen, We have observed the names of several gentlemen published in the news-papers as candidates for the two vacant seats in the Senate ... we take the liberty to recommend Samuel Jones, and Joshua Sands, as the most proper persons to be elected.
