Harmar;" "Bloody Indian battle at Miami, 1791;" "The gallant and intrepid Major Butler, (brother to the unfortunate general) ..." and "Missasago, or chief warrior, who was commander of the Indian army at the late bloody and desperate battle." Ezekiel Russell, of Boston, used the cut of Major Butler in his almanacs, and the scenes of the battle at Miami in his edition of the Columbian tragedy (Evans 23268). |
