At a meeting of a number of members of both houses of the legislature, and citizens of the city and county of Albany, and other citizens of this state, at Wendell's Hotel, in the city of Albany, on the 21st day of March, 1798, for the purpose of agreeing upon suitable persons to be held up as candidates for the offices of governor and lieutenant-governor, at the ensuing election.
