By His Excellency, Joseph Dudley Esq. ... A proclamation : Whereas I have received Her Majesties commands ... that no trade or commerce whatsoever, be holden with the subjects of the crown of Spain ... nor supplys whatsoever be given to the subjects of the French king ... These are therefore strictly to inhibit ... subjects of the provinces of the Massachusetts-Bay and New-Hampshire ... to have or hold any manner of commerce with any the subjects of the crowns of France or Spain ... Given at Boston the thirteenth day of August, 1703.
