| Abstract | Since 1934, the 40,000-acre Lake Mattamuskeet has been the dominant feature of the Mattamuskeet National Wildlife Refuge in Hyde County, North Carolina. The lake is the winter home for thousands of migratory birds. This film contains no dialogue, only music and sounds of nature to accompany footage of wildlife sighted during the course of a day in winter, including ducks, geese, swans, owls, herons, nutria, otters, and numerous other creatures. |
