Abstract Set in New Orleans, birthplace of American jazz. Looks at neighborhood dances, social clubs, a rooftop dancer, and the Mardi Gras parade which celebrtates the musical and cultural heritage of New Orleans, includes a visit to Preservation Hall, where jazz and blues can be heard live every day of the year. Archival clips recall the contributions of jazz greats such as Louis Armstrong and Jelly Roll Morton.
