This collection consists of the business records of the tobacco warehouse firm of Cozart, Eagles, and Carr. The collection includes six ledgers documenting daily cash transactions between the warehouse and buyers. Some of the ledgers also provide annual totals and names of customers. There is also one folder in the collection containing fifteen various items, and loose records which include cash receipts, gift tax receipts, correspondence, stock liability statements and audit reports of the Portsmouth Fisheries Company and the Brunswick Navigation Company. |
