Most of this collection consists of correspondence, divided into letters belonging to Mary McLean, William Starr Myers, and Mrs. William Starr Myers (Margaret Barr), and covers a variety of topics, including travel, the Civil War, and the practicalities of publishing. The collection also contains a travel diary that recounts the journey of the McLean family from Manila to China and Japan, as well as newspaper clippings about novels and two typescript manuscripts. |
