Abstract |
The S. B. Taylor Papers consist of business ledgers of a general store in the Catherine Lake area of Onslow County, N.C.; a treasurer's report for the Christian Woman's Board of Missions; a platted map of Williams Land, Onslow County, N.C.; and essays written by school children. The business ledgers include the names of customers and the various types, quantities and prices of merchandise sold. One ledger deals exclusively with the business transactions of naval stores. The treasurer's report for the Christian Woman's Board of Missions (Disciples of Christ), a record kept for Union Chapel of Catherine Lake, N.C., includes a list of the local members, their contributions and remittances to the national and state organizations. |
