Study of an all-black school, E.E. Smith High, Fayetteville, North Carolina, 1955-1969 |
Abstract |
The purpose of the qualitative study was to learn from alumni and faculty of E.E. Smith High School of Fayetteville, North Carolina, a formerly all-black high school, via document analysis and oral histories. The insights given by those interviewed can be used to assist highly segregated school systems and remind America that the education of young people requires everyone's participation. |
