Abstract The ninth hearing of the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol presents evidence as to what transpired in the White House as the attack on the Capitol unfolded and during the days following the attack. Includes video testimony from former White House staff members, members of the Trump Administration, and other Republicans, many of whom describe to the Committee efforts to persuade former President Trump to send the rioters a message to stand down. Also includes never before seen footage of Congressional leaders as they worked to coordinate a response to the attack. Concludes with a final vote by the Committee to subpoena former President Trump.
