| Biographical note | The East Carolina Faculty Wives Club (later known as the East Carolina University Women's Club as well as the East Carolina University Club) was a social organization whose membership consisted of the East Carolina faculty and staff as well as their spouses. The organization stated that its goal was to provide a fun social atmosphere in which new members of the East Carolina community could meet their fellow campus community members. |
