Abstract | In this presentation, Dr. Plake covers a brief history of the Testing Standards, including changes in approach, content, structure, stakeholders, and objectives over time. Dr. Plake also discusses intended use of the Testing Standards, as well as real life contexts in which the standards have been put to use. She then goes on to describe empirical research demonstrating how changes in the Testing Standards for validity have influenced test reviews. Finally, Dr. Plake discusses the current revision process for Testing Standards, including key players involved, objectives, considerations, and procedures. |
