Abstract Ethel Winter describes her first exposure to modern dance while a student at Bennington College, studying with Martha Graham, and becoming a member of her company. Sticken with tuberculosis in the midst of her career, she tells about coming back to dance after a year of illness. She now teaches Graham technique at the Juilliard School in New York.
