Abstract | Nguyen Thanh Xuan was a member of the National Liberation Front, or Viet Cong, in Saigon. On December 24, 1964, Mr. Xuan parked a car laden with explosives in a garage beneath the Brinks Hotel, a headquarters for American operations in Vietnam. The explosion killed two American officers. Mr. Xuan describes the planning and execution of this mission. |
