Abstract |
This study systematically explores the development and evolution of Wagner's religious, spiritual, and mystical ideas. It demonstrates that matters pertaining to spirituality represented one of the most fundamental underpinnings of Wagner's life, and that no complete understanding of the man and his important prose and artistic works is possible without an appreciation of this fact. |
