General noteMonthly weather chart of North Atlantic Ocean showing isotherms and isobars, shipping routes, storm tracks and dates, radio telegraph stations, storm warning signals, shipwrecks, drift of derelict ships and buoys, and prevailing winds and currents, by ocean. Charts also include narrative review of weather conditions, and key to weather symbols and other information for navigators.
General noteChart for Jan. 1914 includes data on water temperature and salinity. Charts for Dec. 1921 and May 1923 also include data on drift of released bottles, by ship. Beginning in Sept. 1920, some charts also include historical data on storms by ocean.
General noteBeginning in July 1921, some charts also include data on wind and air pressure, by locality. Beginning in Mar. 1922, some charts also include drift of icebergs. Beginning in Oct. 1925, some charts also include data on ocean currents. Beginning in Sept. 1926, some charts also include data on suspected shoals and obstructions.
