Biographical note | Jane Gregory Marrow (1916-2006) was born in Shanghai, China, where her father, Richard Henry Gregory (1876-1955), was a tobacconist employed by the British-American Tobacco Company. She grew up in Shanghai, China, and moved to the United States in 1935 to attend college. |
