Abstract | Pham Van Thu was a resident of Hanoi during the "Christmas Bombing" of 1972. He describes his rescue efforts after the bombing, when he and six others were able to pull several people from the ruins of collapsed houses. Although his own house was destroyed, Mr. Thu claims that he was not upset because he only lost material things. |
