Summary |
The play Scars by Steven J. Brown tells the story of a successful businessman, Charles Gordon. Charles is living the American dream in the Big City of New York. His life comes crashing down on him when discovery of his unfaithfulness to his wife, for over two years, is revealed. Charles is unable to cope with losing his wife and daughter through a difficult divorce, so he seeks the help of an old college classmate and friend. A friend who so happens to be major drug dealer and pimp. As a result, he ends up losing everything he owns and loves including his very soul. It takes the love of God and the help of his family to bring Charles back to a place of redemption. |
