Summary |
This thesis is intended to provide insight into my reasons for choosing to explore instrument making. Historical interest provides inspiration while he need to explore design and function makes my work unique. Building instruments combines my interest in engineering, wood working, and art. I also enjoy the relationship that develops between a musician and luthier. It is this relationship that presses an instrment maker to work harder and to think in new and inventive ways. |
