Biographical note | Charles O'Hagan Laughinghouse (1871-1930) was a prominent Greenville, North Carolina physician. Laughinghouse was a member of the North Carolina State Board of Health, president of the Medical Society of the State of North Carolina, and State Health Officer. He and other local doctors used their own funds to build Pitt Community Hospital in Greenville, N.C. |
