Papers (1941-1968, 1992-1997) of Enders P. Huey including correspondence, photographs, printed material, and miscellaneous, related to Captain Huey's career in the United States Navy. The bulk of the collection consists of photographs of submarines, aircraft carriers, destroyers, and an oil tanker. Also included is material related to the history of USS SKATE (SS-305), the USS SEA FOX (SS-402), specifications for the Japanese submarine OYASHIO, and photographs which contain images of ballistic missile launches from land and sea, officers conducting ship inspections, meetings with foreign Navy personnel, ceremonies, and portraits. |

Biographical note | Enders P. Huey (1918-) was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy (Class of 1941) who participated in World War II, primarily as a member of the submarine forces. Captain Huey also participated in Operation Crossroads at Bikini Atoll and as commander of the naval training center in Orlando, Florida. |
