Scope and content |
The collection consists of official communications relating to Captain Robert Windsor's service on the U.S.S. Currituck (1962-1963) and command of the U.S.S. Independence (1964). The collection also includes correspondence, biographical sketches of Captain Windsor, officer rosters from the U.S.S. Kearsarge (1947), newspaper clippings, and photographs. The photographs include President Eisenhower's visit to the U.S.S. Saratoga (1957-1958). |
