Collection materials, which are believed to have originated with North Carolina geologist Joseph Hyde Pratt, include clippings, signed petitions, correspondence, maps, charts, field notes and blueprints relating to Big Cold Water Creek Drainage District in Cabarrus County and the Hazel Creek section of Swain and Graham Counties. Also includes materials relating to the North Carolina Fisheries Committee activities affecting mainly northeastern North Carolina, including Pamlico and Dare Counties. |
