Abstract |
Vernacular manual on women's health. In addition to examining the four humours and their relation to the health of both men and women, this "Dutch folk book" also deals with herbal remedies, sex, the frequency of sex and its consequences, ways to facilitate and prevent conception, and pregnancy. The book is primarily directed at men rather than women. |
