| Abstract | "This book presents a history of Memorial Hall, the main convocation and performance hall on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1931 to present. It looks into the several previous buildings that served this purpose, and tells the story of the author's years of working first as a student tech crew member and later as the technical director for the Carolina Union at UNC. It recounts the fun and hard work of putting on all concerts in Carmichael Auditorium, the annual Jubilee outdoor music festival, and all the programs presented in Memorial Hall.
