Abstract |
Television news correspondent Suzanne Malveaux was born on December 4, 1966 in Lansing, Michigan. She received her B.A. degree in sociology from Harvard University in 1989 and her M.A. degree in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 1991. Her first television news job was with New England Cable News as a general assignment reporter. She later worked at an NBC affiliate before moving on to NBC Network News where she covered national stories such as the Kosovo War, the 2000 election, and the 9/11 attacks. In 2002, she began work at CNN as a White House correspondent covering ten years of White House activity including the Clinton, Bush and Obama administrations. Malveaux later became the primary fill-in host on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer. In 2011, she was named anchor of CNN Newsroom. Throughout her career, Malveaux traveled the world and interviewed then all-five living U.S. presidents. |
