Abstract St Philip's School, near Bath, failed its OFSTED report in 2002. This was mainly due to its lack of ICT provision. Since then the school has invested significantly in ICT resources and training. This has increased staff confidence in using ICT and developed the whole school's use of ICT across the curriculum. Back on Line goes on a journey through St Philip's. Headteacher Ian Russell and ICT co-ordinator Myra Wilson visit classrooms to witness the ways that staff are employing ICT to implement and enrich their lessons. Teachers throughout the school discuss why they think ICT is a key tool in modern teaching and for their own classes. an and Myra tell of St Philip's recovery , their views on how ICT can make teaching more enjoyable and lessons more effective, and what they hope for ICT in the future. The programme demonstrates the strategies that have enabled a school, starting from a low baseline to make considerable progress in developing its ICT provision.
