Abstract |
Before crossing the Dan River, the boys look for new recruits and go in search of Tarleton's forces, just escaping hanging by some Tories. The captain escapes capture by the British in time for battle at Guilford Courthouse, where the redcoats force a retreat of Greene's forces but suffer heavy casualities themselves. |
