Trueman leaves his hometown of Heartville, Illinois, and arrives in New York City where he is soon told that a guy with Asperger's syndrome (AS) could not possibly succeed as a detective. However, it is not long before Trueman's crime-fighting skills are put to the test when he is robbed on his first day in New York, and he sets about using his exceptional mathematical abilities to invent a crime-fighting equation. With the help of his new friends, and some amazing inventions, he is soon pursuing some of New York's most dangerous criminals. Trueman is determined to show the police, his friends, and himself, that a guy with AS can become just as good a detective as anyone else - mabe, even, one of the best. |
