Abstract |
Extraordinary silent film by the Russian master, Sergei M. Eisenstein, detailing the events leading up to the Russian Revolution. The original version was heavily censored by Stalin, but in 1967 a full restoration was made, and a music score by Shostakovich and sound effects track were added. |
