A proclamation. By His Excellency Henry Procter Esqr. governor of the Territory of Michigan, &c. &c. &c : Whereas existing circumstances render it necessary, for the peace & safety of the said territory, that the laws now in force ... be suspended ... I do order & direct that the said territory shall be governed by martial law ... : Given under my hand & seal at Detroit this fourth day of Febr: 1813.
